We are providing training for anyone who will be providing application assistance at varying levels during the Love Your Kids events. See the descriptions below to find the training that best suits your volunteers.
Basic Application Assistance: Tuesday, February 5, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
For sites with volunteers on hand to distribute information on the KidsCare program and collect contact information of applicants, which will be provided to application specialists for future follow-up.
Advanced Application Assistance: Thursday, February 7, 10-11 a.m.
For sites with application assisters on hand to help families fill out the application as much as possible at the event. Once the assisters have helped the family fill out the application as much as possible, they will turn the application over an application specialist for future follow-up. These sites will likely have volunteers who have experience assisting families with the application process.
HEA Application Assistance: Thursday, February 7, 3-4 p.m.
For those locations with the Health-E-Arizona (HEA) application program that allows an enrollment specialist to help an applicant fill out forms electronically. Volunteers at this site will be walking families through the application process using the HEA.
